No..I still use it as main phone. But today I will test Maemo Leste in another phone, again. And I afraid that I am going to use N900 all the time, so I have another SIM-card for Maemo Leste tests.

Doubtful. Given that we reached the moon with the power of an N900 and still haven’t reached anywhere near anything else. I do love your spirit though. To sneak by the TON is a brilliant move, until you meet his big brother.

Anyone knows where to find good batteries for an old n900? Would it be possible to open a n9 and use that battery?

No, different types. BL-5J vs BV-5JW. They are probably the same inside, just with different connectors. You can try if you are good with a soldering iron and feel adventurous.

Regarding the source, no idea. I usually buy such things on eBay.
