Hi!

I'm switching from N900 to a Win7 phone (because of work-related stuff). I'd like to archive my text messages (SMS), so I used the N900's backup program and saved the file on my computer.

My question is: in which file did the backup program save my SMS's? I went through the stuff it zipped in comm_and_cal\Root, but didn't find anything I'd instantly recognize (I'm a linux newbie). Also, once I don't have a N900 anymore, is it somehow possible to open the archived SMS's and view them?

On a side note, I miss Maemo already. Win7 has practically no tethering, really inconvenient copypaste, no file manager (!), everything's intergrated in Zune/Live, obviously no console... blah. Truly a shame there's no new hardware for Maemo. :| With a fast processor it'd still beat win7 and android hands down in my opinion.
