Whisperfish just updated to alpha.7 which fixes attachments (and a bunch of small stuff). I uset it daily and although it's still highly in development, it works well enough for me to do the switch!
(Okay, groups v2 still need to get implemented...)

I have still some problems. I tried to send to android and there is still round circle (sending message?) after couple of hours. Last Whisperwish updated.
