Yes, as long as it doesn't appear on the account, it won't work.
Iirc,I bought the licence with an email, registered with that email at Jolla and registered to the account at the first boot. Then, the phone was linked and licenced.

Panic is over guys. I'm now on the full version again.
Another email to Jolla got it sorted. Apparently the first time they did the license transfer it didn't go through properly.

In answer to your question aspergerguy: I bought the device from JDStore with the unlicensed version pre installed.
