I saw this at the end of the N810 user manual on the FCC site:

pending in the U.S. and foreign countries.

SUITABILITY OF THIS SOURCE CODE FOR ANY PURPOSE. IT IS

SOURCE CODE.

Open source software notice
Does anybody know what this is about?

edit: Nevermind. The N800 manual had the same notice. So this is nothing new, and certainly not anything specific to 2008 OS

Don't forget that part of Nvidia's Linux driver is open source. It's only the binary blob that the Nvidia module hooks into that's proprietary. So Nokia might have modified the Nvidia module for its own needs to hook into its own binary blob for perhaps wifi.

yes, but what nVidia hardware is there in the Nokia Internet Tablets? I'm not aware of any.

None, but there might be some code -- open source, and all that.
