Hope its right topic...

I've wondered for a couple of days why I still have 0 karma, after being a member for 9 days. According to docs you get points for just having an account and I miss those too. Karma is supposed to update in couple days max, right?

So, is Karma currently broken or I'm I really that bad at reading documentation? I've counted like 7 or so ways that should've contributed some positive karma to me. Not that it really matters, but since its so visible everywhere in maemo.org I ought it should work too...

http://wiki.maemo.org/Karma discusses the possible ways in which you can get karma.

But have you linked your Talk profile to your maemo.org profile?

You must make a sacrifice to start getting karma. Ideally, it would have to be a human virgin, but several small rodents should do the job as well.

Hint: Sacrificing your firstborn gives you +1000 karma.

Yes, I have.

Yes, I referred to documentation in my post.

Things that should give karma to me:
Code:
    *  Having a maemo.org account
    * Commenting or rating Maemo news items, blog posts or products
    * Joining Garage groups related to products
    * Maintaining products on the Garage
    * Posts on talk.maemo.org forum after you Link talk.maemo.org account with maemo.org profile
    * Thanks on talk.maemo.org forum
I'm not needing the karma for anything, I'm just wondering if its broken, and if it is, where to file a bug for it. Maemo.org has been slow and I think I read somewhere that Karma indexing is related to idle time server has, true?

I've asked this a few times, but as of yet, I haven't received an satisfactory answer. Therefore I thought of opening a new thread with a catchy title.

I have noticed that my karma has been the same for a few weeks now. During this time I've done activities that should increase this mysterious karma.

How often should karma be updated? Or is karma on hold now because of the upcoming changes? Or am I a victim of a vicious discrimination campaign because I once, accidentally, tried a game on an iTomato (can't remember the exact iFruit now) and I erroneously thought it was quite entertaining?

I've noticed the same thing. My karma has been the same for a few week even though I've done a few things that should have increased it.
