Hi,
I would like to be able to write something on my n800, then take the sd card and put it in a reader for my ibook and be able to keep editing the note. I can't really do this now. I don't mind installing new software on either the n800 or my laptop. What do I do?
thanks!
Hailey

Both Maemopad/Maemopad+ and Leafpad can save files to wherever you prefer.

The notes app saves in html format, and it's included in the standard software.
You could also download leafpad (txt format) or abiword (abw or M$ word formats, maybe also rtf but I am not sure).

I've Just checked and as I thought the Notes app will save as text in a .txt file and to anywhere you want. I defaults to html bu can be changed using:-

Format -> File Format -> Plain text.
also

Note - > Save as
to save anywhere.

thanks, I have played with it some and found that saving in plain text format doesn't save in .txt unless I actually type .txt on the end of the file name, which I don't mind doing.

And thanks, but I wasn't having a problem saving to my sd card, just getting it in the right format.
