Please advise.

The usual problem;-)

Unhide your WLAN for just a minute, then let your 770 search for it.
As soon as your 770 has caught the connection, you can hide your WLAN again.

Once the 770 has stored the connection parameters, it will find your hidden WLAN,
so no need to unhide it again.

Seems to be a problem of either the 770 WLAN hardware or the control software.

My Samsung Q1 found my hidden WLAN, there was no need to unhide it.
I think the Q1 has an Atheros chip built-in. Maybe the control software is more advanced, too.

OT: I'm still waiting for a 'best of both Worlds' machine,
in the case of the 770, with the functionality and stability of the Q1.

I don't care too much about the brand of the core OS of my dream IT,
but it should at least have a _stable_ and functional internet browser like Firefox.

The OQO 2 tends towards the right direction, but it doesn't have the nice slide-on cover...

Brand new 770; just delivered - will be writing an in depth review and custom user guide about all the steps...

What would you recommend?

(First steps...)
