On and off, you found the 770 ends up in twilight zone, the screen is with backlit but the [-] is not able to turn off the 770, after pressing all the known buttons under the sun, and the ritual of saying several prayers, in different languages, you go ahead, and take out the battery, right? That way to turn off an electronic device sounds quite brutal! Kind of like............CSection (sorry, no offence to lady readers, just cannot find a better example), cannot deliver a baby, cut it out?

QuestionS:
1) Is that the only choice? if so, under what conditions are MORE safe than other? I am sure, one should not take out the battery while the drive lite is ON. Well, where is the equivalent "drive lite" on the 770?

2) Is that healthy? If 1) is YES, then this is a moot point, you simply do not have a choice

3) Do you remember which is the most situation/apps leads to the above conditions, the 770 lands in a twilight zone? I know, this is quite operator dependent. For myself, I have only one app, that is the videocenter streaming videos. Mmapper, GPS, USB, browser, minimo, mediastreaming, BT phone pairing rarely rarely does that. Media player and mplayer once in a blue moon. I guess running out of cache memory or simply device memory is the cultprit. Any idea how to circumvent this, sr/jr/newbies and gurus?
