Is Claws integrated like the default mail app? So that the tablet blinks when you've got mail and when you click on "new mail" from the connectivity menu it starts up Claws instead of the built in app?

    No, not yet!

Doesn't work with the built-in email client, and has only partial support in Claws so far, yes.

Um, I read email off-line with the built-in email client. Which is set up for imap. Already down-loaded emails, of course.
