I have finally gotten around to rebuilding my Linux NAS box(FireBall due to a exploding PSU) , it's running CentOS 5 (a free version on RedHat Enterprise 5).

So what is the best program to use to Organise and stream audio and video from.., I'm going to be streaming to my N800 (Both over wireless and hopefully over the internet as well), Nintendo Revolution, GP2x Gen2 (when I get around to using the development dock) and Windows Laptop (Work forces me to use WinBlowz).

So what are other people using or recommend,?

For streaming, I'm working on a wrapper to my 770-encode which does on-the-fly transcoding, providing RSS feeds for Video Center on your tablets and a web interface for picking random videos.

More details here: http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=10205

Hopefully the next couple of days will see an initial release.

Thanks, Andrew. I am waiting to test it. I have tried quite a few with the exception of a real Linux box (aint got one yet), video streaming over inet remains unwatchable on the 770! when people post video/audio streaming, and mentioned that it is successful over the inet, I doubt whether they did try video. Audio streaming on the 770 is much easier. I have no luck so far with video over inet on 770.
