Would a Bluetooth Modem work with the N800? Here's the deal. My mom is in an assisted living facility. No high speed there anywhere. Sometimes for extended stays I'd like to be able to check my e-mail and do business without having to take my laptop. I could put this in her room and use my N800. I have a dial up account with my AT&T DSL.

Thanks for your input.

Some will, some won't.

You need a bluetooth modem that support DUN, and doesn't require specific drivers for modem part. (just universal BT modem drivers).

I experimented with a Trust BT modem. It works perfectly. (but 56k is very slow)

Bernard,

Thank you for the post. Just the information I needed. It was $30, DUN and would work, but you made a great point about the 56K. If I'm going to have to take a modem and wall plug, then I may as well take the lap top. <g>
