I work for Sprint, all the EVDO phones that have been out in the last 4-6 months are Rev A capable- but are only operating @ Rev 0.
I tried the M500, worked good, tired a m610 (both of these are samsungs) and it worked the best so far. Also there is a work around for Samsung phones to enable free PAM (Phone As Modem) use. Thats why I'm picking mostly Samsung phones.

I have a Centro and initially using the built-in connectivity of the n800 it would pair, but the two devices would not talk to each other. I read a post on this forum about using USBmodem (you can search for it), and then downloaded the trial version onto my Centro. It was all pretty easy. USBmodem asks if you want to disable built-in DUN and you say 'yes'. After that you pair the two devices and then connect. From my location n800 web surfing through Sprint was slower than wifi, but quite acceptable.
The Centro is a very cool (geeky) phone, but there is no chance that the Centro will replace my tablet.
