Hmmm... I'm now seeing the same message on OS2008. It happens (from the browser) whenever I try to download anything. It doesn't matter whether I choose open or save, nor which location I try to save to. I also have plenty of free space on all but initfs.
I've given up on this problem as I don't have any more software to install until OS2008.
