This may be a really stupid question... Will applications listed in the OS2007 category run on the N810?

Most of them (like 98%) no. Exception is pure command line utilities, applications (games) based on SDL and other stuff not linked to GTK, Hildon etc. Also some python based apps may work.

Well, I bet daemons and utils like my lprng and rdate packages will continue to work.. although I will be making OS2008 versions too as soon as I get a bigger disk for my laptop so I can install a chinook version of scratchbox.
