Since I became an new owner of an N800 last week, I have been surfing the web trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can about the device.

Last night I came across a number of articles & announcements from last year about how the N800 was going to be capable of using WiMax and that in the USA, Sprint was going to introduce the N800 with their system.

Searching Google's indexing of this forum, I didn't find a single post about this. <it turns out that Google doesn't fully index this site>

Is there an untapped capability in the N800 that we don't know about -or- is their an upcoming version that adds this capability that will make us wish that we had waited and bought the newer version?

The announcements are about an upcoming variant, not the current N800 device.
