I have 3 pcs on my home network. my 800 can see the pc's but it keeps telling that none of them have any shared folders but they do.

how can i get access to the files?

Are they password protected? The filebrowser in OS2008 can only access non-protected shared folders. If you just want access to you music than there are other options.

i gave the user "everyone" full control but its still not working.

I guess it still needs a password. So how does one setup a password free folder or you cant do it if the filesystem is ntfs?

Can you access the share from one pc on the other pc, and without entering a password? What operating system do they have?

Try restarting the n800.

managed to get it working but its not very good. it really needs to access password protected folders.
