I don't know that I would automatically jump to the conclusion that the 32 Gig SDHC card will work.

Call me cautious.

With standardized specs, 8, 16, and 32GB should be fully supported. I have a 160GB external hard drive attached to my computer. I can say with extreme confidence, that my computer will be able to handle 500GB from the same manufacture. Why is that? You don't always need to try it or have it officially announced. My gateway laptop never officially stated it would support 160GB external hard drives either.

I agree that based on industry accepted standards, all SDHC cards should, in theory, work in the N8X0 devices. However, as The General has stated,
and I agree, not all SDHC media (as with hard drive technology) are engineered to the exacting standards required as per the SDHC compliance.

There are certainly a collection of unfortunate N800 users, that have posted on this forum, that can attest to imperfections in the design and manufacture of the many brand variants of SDHC cards and, I suspect, external drive technology.

The world's an imperfect place; Buyer Beware.
