For some reason, my tablet's device memory filled up today and I can't figure out why, or how to free the memory again. I fear I may have some sort of broken installation of something as I've been experiencing some strange behaviors (particularly with the Comix app, which once worked just fine but has since been unable to properly open my cbz/cbr archives), and now they seem to have culminated in this memory issue, which leaves me unable to even open a small pdf with the built-in reader. (I get a message regarding insufficient memory).
The details in control panel tell me I am using 246.3 MB of 251.5 MB, but when I click on data, I get a breakdown of images, docs, apps, etc. that totals only around 80 MB (which is the correct number based on what is actually installed).
I've tried rebooting the device (more than once) but that doesn't solve anything. A look at running processes doesn't reveal anything out of order; nothing is using the kind of memory needed to max out the device.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here? I'm on the verge of reflashing the tablet when I get home tonight but I'd be glad to avoid this if possible.
Thanks in advance.
