I had a scary device lock up experience just now.

I had shutdown N800 earlier. Or I thought it was going to shutdown.

I did not look at it to make sure it did really shutdown completely.

When I took it out from the case, the blue light was blinking, And I could not power it up or down. Had to remove the battery.

Anybody with similar experience?

Carboncopy,

Hi. I had a similar issue the other day... was doing a USB transfer and [apparently] the battery went dead. I came back a few minutes and found that the N800 was dead and non-responsive with only the blue led blinking. I too had to remove the battery to reset it.

I am not sure but it seems to me that since I upgraded to OS 2008, my battery life seems inconsistent....and usually shorter than when I was running OS 2007.

FYI
N800 (US Model)
1GB External Memory Card
4GB Internal Memory Card
OS 2008

Just had it happen after fully charging the battery. Is something still on when you shut down the device like BT or WiFi?
