Sounds like you're trying to select then drag. It's supposed to be just drag. Works better with the stylus, but it's a royal pain no matter what.

I have found that it is near impossible to select the application to move it - i.e, when I click somewhere on it to drag it on the desktop, it either ´selects´ the option that I have clicked, or does absolutely nothing. I just cant seem to select the app and drag it. As a result, I have removed all of the apps from the desktop as they are all on top of each other. Has anyone else had difficulties in repositioning the desktop applications?
Interestingly enough, (when I did have an application on the desktop) I found that on random occasions it would move itself when I rebooted, or turned the screen back on (after a time out).
