I am unable to reflash N800.

On Linux flasher hangs with

Suitable USB device not found, waiting.

On mac osx, after the initial message as above I turn the
N800 on (holding the home key) and get the following:

USB device found at bus 004, device address 002-0421-0105-02-00
unsupported board (id = 0x0000

Nothing happens afterwards.

Any suggestions?

This is weird. The problem went away. The only thing that I did was to remove
the internal memory card. After that the flasher was able to query N800 and
enable/disable r&d mode. Even more weird: with the memory card reinserted,
flasher is working normally again.
