I know I'm not crazy...yesterday I flashed my N810 and when I put my memory cards back in, they had pre-existing podcasts on them.
I noticed (with glee) that the native media player distinctly indexed the podcasts differently.

Yay! I thought...

Thinking it must be reading metadata from the files themselves, it must differentiate between podcasts and my music. I've been really waiting this feature.

This morning, I go to investigate this feature again and suddenly it's gone - in my library I show only Music, Internet Radio, Video. I looked through the "Music" category, and now the podcasts are lumped in with the music. ARRRGH!

Granted I did a lot of application adding yesterday; did I somehow add something that 'killed' this feature? I want it back!

I commute a long distance, and some days I need the music to play randomly, other days I would listen to my podcasts, but I don't want them mixed together by my player. Yes, Fussy.

I use podsync to collect my podcasts, and I have it put them in it's own podcast directory on the flash card, again separate from my music.

I realize this is the most esoteric of needs, but I distinctly witnessed Media Player categorize "podcasts" correctly yesterday!

Any ideas?
