Hi people! here's a little problem i've run into.
I've got a N800 tablet with the latest OS2008. After several reboots some elements of the interface disappeared (e.g. the indicator of backlight doesn't show the scale, + the window manager elements of windows), and the joystick doesn't cause any reaction. No effect after switching themes. There's a standard soft collection, nothing "experimental" or whatever. Have no idea what could have caused this strange behaviour.
Some other man reported the same problem too. Here are his screenshots:

Now i'm loading the firmware, think i'll have to reprogram n800.
Any idea?

p.s.sorry for my English

UPD: And one more thing: the load indicator (at the bottom of the screen when the initial logo appears) has also disappeared.

The problem seems to be solved for now, it's nothing to do with real software bugs. All the stuff began after i had chmod'ed /bin/su like this:
chmod +s /bin/su

Now i turned the permissions back and everything's allright.
Don't do this folks)
