Hey,
questions and keypoints found in blue

First and foremost I'm a notorious lurker. Been lurking here just long enough to simply acquire information when needed. Pretty much, this forum alone with the search feature has answered every question I've had so far, much helpful, thus explains why I haven't registered until now.

Anyways, I searched the forums, I searched other Tablet sites, and I searched Google.. no luck.

This is quite simple: Without an external memory card, I have been using the internal one to save mp3's straight from the web, etc etc. To the folder Documents>MP3* (*i created). The songs have since added themselves to the Media Player: Great! Up until now. I deleted the songs, deleted the MP3 folder, have highlighted Internal Memory, gone to tools>reformat (or similar)... But still, although the songs appear to no longer physically be on the internal memory card, they still show up in my Media Player.

My Media Player is now ALWAYS refreshing, it Never stops, as if searching for those missing files. If you click on a file to play from Media Player, I get an "Unable To Find Media File" popup. If I try and delete them from Media Player, I get the very same popup. My question is this: How do I "restore" Media Player to factory settings?

I tried using the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard in an attempt to just restore my entire N810/firmware, but the wizard kept erroring up on me. I thought maybe uninstalling and reinstalling Media Player might do the trick, but I can't find it under "Installed Applications."

I just want to remedy my Media Player, as I awaiting the arrival of my 16GB SDHC and would like to place EVERYTHING in there and leave the internal as it was straight-out-the-box. But if the only solution involves restoring the entire N810/Firmware, then by all means I'm down for that. Won't really mind losing what little I've downloaded/installed for this fix.

Anyways, sorry for such a lengthy post, and THANKS in advance for the anticipated responses! Have a great one, Peace!
