    Correct, same issue in v19.6 and in v20.1.

    As a quick weather fix, I simply entered "weather <zip_code>" in the google search desktop applet which took me straight to my local forecast. Assuming you have an active network connection of course.

    I have v19.6 and it quit on me yesterday as well. I think the US Weather service (www.weather.gov) provides XML forecast data. If this is an issue with weather.com getting huffy about its terms and conditions, perhaps the data is available from the public domain. (Its not like the weather channel actually collects its own data or anything). I'm glad this forum is here. I was about to uninstall and reinstall the software thinking it must have gotten corrupted somehow. Anyway, I really like this app and hope it comes back

    oops my bad, Weather.gov does a good job for US weather but not so good for non-US locations. My provincialism is showing, please forgive me.

    Hi,

    the same happened for gdesklets and weather screenlets in Ubuntu. In the forum some people give the advice to:

    The only thing is:

    I don't know where the configuration file for OMweather can be found (and it's too late at night for ne to start searching).

    So I'll just leave you with the info.

    the URL is hard coded in weather-download.c

    g_string_append_printf(url,"http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/%s?cc=*&prod=xoap&par=1004517364&key=a29796f587f20 6b2&unit=m&dayf=%d",
    station_code, Max_count_weather_day);

    Thanks for everyone for posting, I thought I was losing my mind. Coincidentally a few days ago I got an email from TWC (a while back I was thinking of making an app, so I registefed for the feed), and the subject was "IMPORTANT...". I think they changed their T&C and thus changed their feed. Also, I believe it said it was a violation of the terms to deploy the technology on any mobile device...

    I found a fix on the garage bug reports page. A user named Wolf has posted a patched binary. Please keep in mind, that downloading an untrusted binary is a SERIOUS SECURITY NO-NO! Do so at your own risk.

    That being said, it did work for me. Again, make sure your installed version is 0.20.1. Take a look at Wolf's post here.

    https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/ind...id=93&atid=417

    Download his lib file and rename the old one; reboot tablet. The fix is simple.
