Can someone upload these three files from Diablo somewhere ?

I figured it out, too (haven't installed diablo just yet), but what is this useless "something" folder about?

By the way, in case you're searching for the username and password, it does take some minor code-reading skills in order to discover them. You're not going to be able to guess it, unless you've got some serious War Games-style hacker equipment going on in your basement. But I'll give you a bigger hint than qwerty12 will allow you: how do SSU updates work for diablo (without entering a password) but not for chinook? Perhaps some diablo-specific code somewhere in the package manager?

Anyone adept enough to figure out the username/password should be adept enough to understand that they're working with a bug-ridden version of Maemo. Good thing I have two N810s - no need to risk sacrificing my tablet browsing capabilities. Of course, now I have to sacrifice time out of my horrendously busy schedule. Argh!

cool, that makes 3/4 of us that know it.
i realised same thing as you, which put me onto this method making me the 1st person to figure it out

I dunno, i can't develop at all but i figured out how to read it.

You keep giving more and more hints, Faheem & Gnuite; you do realize you (Faheem) gave it away some time ago? I don't know it yet, but I know (and have for some time, thanks for confirming my guess!) where to get it, if I didn't have the files already. I had thought they were worthless in the main, but was hoping to install a few upgrades (like flash) anyway; thanks to the cache preload trick, I'll have it up this afternoon, I hope...

    Cool

Meanwhile, I modified the diablo initfs to have fanoush's bootmenu.

    i'm now running 2008-17-qwerty12-custom-diablo/initfs

Hey, I've only given one hint (at least knowingly), and that was only because none of qwerty12's hints actually struck a chord with me. I just figured that I'd offer an alternative hint for those of us old-timers that don't understand today's teenager lingo. This is the last I'll mention of it, though, don't worry; I'm too old to brag....

Since I don't have a sacrificial machine, if you try could you tell us if it's reasonably (even if not 100% foolproof) to upgrade with a fairly customized chinook? (I mean with extra apps, nothing fancy like peronal menu or other thing that ingrain themselves too deply in the system).
