Actually I have no idea what kind of videos you have, so I can't say anything regarding this problem. So .26 release is likely not to get a fix for it if nobody provides at least mplayer log in the bugreport.

Take it from garage extras repository (disable extras-devel and refresh packages list).

PS. It is better to report such problems in a public forum and not in private messages. Other people may have the same problem as you, so we could discuss it and look for a solution together.

This problem occurred recently and it effects all types of videos in my n800..... the n810 promo, avi files and flash files downloaded thorugh mtube.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still appears and also did a complete os reinstall but is still present.
