Dear forum members,
I have searched the forum regarding Java on the OS 2007 and 2008 operating systems and am somewhat unclear on what the "verdict" is. Is there a fully-functional JVM that runs on the OS 2007 and/or 2008 platform? If not, is there anything promising on the horizon? Maybe in the next few months?

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,
webident

Jalimo is the best bet. But it doesn't (yet) provide a browser plugin for Java applets.

It provides a Java SE stack for running Java applications. It should be possibly to get one of the Java ME emulators for Java SE running on it, if you're interested in mobile phone applications.
