I have it in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/hildon

But setting X-Icon-Path=/usr/share/icons seems to make it look in all the sub folders not just /usr/share/icons

I can post my desktop file if you want. I haven't made any other changes to xournal except for the desktop file.

The gtk-update-icon-cache is already in the postint and postrm script files...
Weird, very weird...

Nope. But I am using yesterday's (2008-04-09) build and I think you put out a new one today. I'll update when I get a chance and check.
