i was just wondering , if the 810 and the 810 WE are for all intents and purposes the same , how in the hell is there space for the wimax antenna in the WE but not enough space for another micro sd (or two) in the regular 810?????

Keep cost low. Make as few variations of same design as possible.

There's a hump on the back of the N810 Wimax Edition. This is presumably where the antenna is located:

its only 2mm the point is there is more than enough room for either 1 full size SD or more than one micro SD... putting a mini slot on there was a piss poor design decision.

Well, it was the decision made. We get what we get. Production costs drive design decisions more than anything else. Complaining about it, especially here, won't help, unless it just makes you feel better.

For a very large variety of factors that I doubt you will accept as answers.

Suffice it to say, Nokia isn't ******ed and they know a hell of a lot more about hardware design than you.
