I like N810 so much that I wanna to buy.
I saw it only $405.99 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping

Is the price okay?

I'm a litte worry about the quality.

Hardware quality is fine IMHO much better than similarly priced/sized devices. If you want to wait a few months there will probably be a price drop in June as well as a software update due to the N810 Wimax Edition coming out.

im not sure if there will be a price drop. from what my Nokia rep told me, the WiMax Edition will only be an alternative version for those that want the WiMax service. He said that it is not meant to be a replacement so there shouldnt be any significant price drop (a few bucks doesnt count as a price drop to me). Also, their NYC Flagship store told me that they might not even carry it there but that the Chicago one will definitely carry it. so i guess we“ĺl all see...

im just sharing the info i heard. im not claiming to have the definitive answer. but it makes sense to me.

EDIT: oh yeah, to answer the original question, i paid $430 including next day shipping.

Ouch, wish I lived in the states. Got mine for £290 online in the UK, which was significantly cheaper than retail/nokia.com. Thought about importing from US, but customs/VAT charges would have brought it close to what I paid. Next day delivery was great for satisfying the geek-lust brought about by the n810 though

If you plan on getting it through buy.com, at least use this coupon code to save yourself $15.00 off the price. I think any price under 400 is a good value for a new one.

I got mine during the lucky 1 day sale direct from Nokia.

Is this spam?
Especially if you take a look at the 'signature'...

A price drop on the N810 would be kind of a sham. The N810 was at 439 before the Wimax version was announced, even breifly on sale for 389 in mid March. As soon as they announced the wimax version, NokiaUSA kicked up the price to 479. I wouldn't consider NokiaUSA reducing the price back to 439 as a price drop.
