Yeah, sure. I've made a few changes so it now shows you the wireless information. (For some reason, it won't get the quality info so I've deleted those lines)

Delete the MPD and Fortune bit if you don't have them installed:

    Conky 1.5.1-1

You may need to right click and click save as, my server tends to want to open it as a text file.

(if anyone knows how to fix this please tell me)

    Thanks a lot! :)

I'm not an expert with webservers or anything but I think the mimetype needs to be set in the .htaccess file :/

If not, could it be useful for hiding desktop applets under? (So they don't get drug around.)

Obviously for information-only ones, not interaction, and I guess you could just display the information here... Yeah, dumb idea.
    No :)

But this doesn't stop applets from moving around, you can still drag them with conky on top.

Thanks. I just tryed your .conkyrc with it conky flickers every 5 seconds, is there a fix for this?

    Thanks again.

Unfortunately, it seems to be the price of updating the information. You could make the time be more longer, but the double buffer option which reduces flickering doesn't work with matchbox/hildon-desktop

It makes the entire desktop white except for the menubars.

    ok, next question.

Is there a command I can use to start/stop conky from running? (I want to put an entry for in in the OS2008 personal menu)

    stopping is as simple as

    Code:
    conky -d or conky &
    (both do the same thing)

You've reminded me actually, I can't get this to run via an init script. I'm gonna try the autohome-applet.

Is there one command that can do both?

possibly a script that will check and see if it is running, if it is not running it will run "conky" if it is running it will run "killall conky"?

I think it could be done with if's etc but I'm not hot on bash scripting sorry.

Better to wait for someone like Benson who IMO does know a hell of a lot about scripting etc.

It's a sad state when a non-developer modder can port programs right and left, but can't write this:
    Code:
    if [ x"`pidof conky`" == x ] ; then conky -d; else killall conky; fi

Actually, I tend to think that it just means that the porting is really easy with the internet tablets, but the scripting is still the same. Honestly, not many systems can say, that it is easier to port at program to it, than to write a simple script ;-)
