Hmm... still same error. Thank you for the advice though! I appreciate it!

I'm waay too tired to try and figure this out right now (it's like midnight here)

I'll take another look in the morning

Ah, sorry

Heh, it's 8AM here

(If you can, when you have the time, could you post up your control file in the deb because I may be able to spot the error )

Thanks qwerty

Here's the file PyPackager generates. Hopefully I'm just missing something really obvious :P

Try changing the architecture from Any to armel.

There is one more "fun" mplayer option: -speed
For example using '-speed 0.9' will slow down playback by 10%, but sound gets really distorted if you overuse it.

Hmm... well, thanks to qwerty12's help, the generated .deb will install, but it doesn't copy the executable to /usr/bin...

I'm sure it's just user error, I must be doing something stupid again :P

Hmm, I'm not sure with pypackager but I believe the source directory has to be in the structure of where the files need to be.

e.g hi is my executable and /home/user/MyDocs/hisrc is my source folder.

I'd put "hi" in /home/user/MyDocs/hisrc/usr/bin and select /home/user/MyDocs/hisrc as my source dir.

Hmmm... I've done that though...

My directory tree looks like this:

mplayer-opt-src is selected as my source directory in PyPackager... Am I missing something?

Ok, I downloaded PyPackager and your generated file and did some testing of my own.

I made a deb file successfully using your file.

Make the Binaries folder /home/user/MyDocs/Mopt/mplayer-opt-src/ and make the source folder blank.
