I have been using my N810 since I got it last week and the first thing I noticed was how even the keyboard backlighting was.

But, last night I noticed the backlighting on the keyboard was not as even as I first thought. Particualary the "P" key is quite a bit brighter than the other keys (about twice as bright). To the point that it is really annoying. I have been using it a good bit at night outside, so I would have noticed it before.

I have not seen any reviews on the IT that complains about the keyboard backlighting.

I'm just wondering if this is normal because the way the backlighting is acomplished (maybe I just didn't notice it before & I'm going crazy ). Or, maybe part of the backlighting has stopped functioning (LED failure) and needs repair.

Does any one else have this issue with their N810?

My "P" is brighter too, but nothing annoying, at least to me.

P is brighter too, again - not bothered about this.

Same here, P is slightly brighter but has never bothered me.

it bugs the hell out of me, also how the light shines through the space in between the keys
