I bought the N810 a few days ago and I have significant problems downloading or installing anything. The N810 is connected to our local Wifi network (MAC access control, password-protected) and the connection generally works. I can read several websites just fine and without any problems, but whenever I go to maemo.org and try to download something from there, the connection stalls and I can't get anything. Specifically, I can load and see the initial page (maemo.org), but already if I go to other pages on that server, the connection becomes slow and unreliable. I've tried numerous times to download and install apps like OpenSSH and Maemo Mapper but it always failed in the end. If I do the same from my laptop which is on the same LAN and also connected via Wifi, all this works without a hitch.

I've read a similar posting where someone was advised to check for possible file system corruptions, but I just checked and there doesn't seem to be such a problem with my device. Any other hints? Right now, I'm very disappointed and the machine seems pretty useless...

(BTW, I can't download maps with the "Map" app either. I select one from the list of available maps, the download window opens, but that's it. The progress bar doesn't move and nothing happens.)
