Installed the PdaNet onto the phone, not the NIT. After re-booting the phone, re-pairing the N810 and the 6800 /w PdaNet, I was able to set up a DUN connection.
It doesn't need windows software to be running, just the app on the phone and it detects an incoming bt connection and advertises that it is also DUN for the smartphone. It also allowed me to get DUN access through a Mac.
When I enabled it on my phone, it immediately requests access to the PdaNet session running on Windows. There are no other options.
I don't care though as this ICS Control is faster than PAN or DUN. Thanks anyway.
Oh sorry, but glad you and qwerty12 managed to get ICS running properly.
For others that might stumble on this thread, you do not click on "Connect" menu option on the smartphone. That's only for using it with a windows computer running the other part of PdaNet. Go to settings, check all 3 tabs, and leave pdanet just running in the taskbar. Then turn on the bluetooth on the smartphone and make it visible, and finally pair with tablet and setup connection.
I never thought to check, but i did a speed test on dslreports when I connected the smartphone:

It could be my location currently or my provider, but definitely a difference in speed
