I'm not running liqbase yet, but I'm following the discussion with interest. My impression is that you basically row the text with your stylus, so to speak. I like the fbreader's use of hardware keys for turning the page. I wouldn't want to be using my finger or stylus all the time. Liqbase looks great for flipping back and forth rapidly in a text, but I usually read books one page at a time with minimal scurrying around. It may be too soon to be talking about this...

No, in fact you can use your finger and also the screen scrolls automatically if you wish...

geneven,
at the moment since its a demo it scrolls automatically, but I did put in page up down with the hardware keys.

When I get my head back into it (or someone else does once its released..) I expect the user interface part to work as expected with optional everything - kinetic scrolling has its place for flipping through documents but page by page is equally important.

It is a bit too early, but its been considered since inception.

of course, there are some of us who are watching/playing due to the fact that we are used to autoscrolling book readers, and cannot get one (so far) on our tablets (besides kludging up GVM and running ereader, which we are not likely to do) I'd love to see the book size limit on the reader in this software raised, and an option for autoscrolling. I'd give up fbreader, and open books individually just to have this work...

darn, just went back into the thread to find that opening books list wise is possible.... Must read rest of thread before I speak again...

humble and tired...

Hey, thought I would bump this with a new youtube video.

I've managed to get some important groundwork completed and have rebuilt the menu user interface to my satisfaction.

I thought you might like to see.

Is there any chance more Binary Files will be released soon? Or even better, a .deb file? I can only find the source code on SVN and such, and don't have anything setup to compile it. If someone could make (or has made) a executable of the current build, that would be nice.
