    Partitioning with cfdisk

    I tried to partition my new 1GB-MMC in 2 partitions (as described in http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ExtendedRootFilesystem an the links inside
    )

    After deleting the old partition i have about 1027 MB free space. When i make a FAT16-Partition with 640 MB, cfdisk doesnt show any free space, and i cant make a second partition from the rest.

    Whats wrong?
    How can i create a second partition on my card?

    Another Question: What size do you recommend for the rootfs-partition on the MMC?

    Hi.
    The screen is to small (only one line to show partitions), use the down button to scroll down and be able to see the line with the free space.

    => cfdisk was coming from extrootfs ?

    see my post about the problem I have

    Thank you,
    Laurent.
