Automatic crawlers on battery-powered devices are heavy and useless. I think it gets stuck less often, but it's still heavy and useless.

It is *much* better, at least at shutting down the scan when I plug in the USB (so the card isn't available) and seems to be quicker at the task, but it still sometimes doesn't exit fast enough - it exits but not before the "card not available" appears.

Its best use for me yet has been learning how to disable services on the NIT

It appears that it no longer dies horribly when encountering a symlink, but I don't use the built-in media player so I leave it disabled.
