I would like to have a small ebay app just like the one for the iphone/touch.
Is it possible for third party developers to develop such an app or should we contact nokia or ebay for it?

A third party developer with some knowledge of C# or Perl could in theory do this quite easily. It looks like ebay provides some fairly specific tutorials for using their APIs

Try looking around here: http://developer.ebay.com/support/docs/tutorials/

There's also a pre-made java app that monitors ebay auctions that might be a good start-off point http://www.jbidwatcher.com/

But i am not a developer just an end user. Java afaik is not yet supported on the tablets.... so i guess i ll have to just wait for some one to do it.

Hmmm... I'm sort of a developer :P But I'm not familiar with any of the languages listed sorry :/ I'm sure there's stuff out there that could be easily thrown together.

You might PM one of the devs on the site or keep posting here? Maybe offer a small bounty?

I might take a crack at it if I've got time this coming week. I can't promise anything though, sorry :/

Hi Pal,
i have that on my to-do list as a mojocafe.net gadget.
The only problem that i have at the moment is that i was
aquired for a 4 month job in spain, so i have no time to
continue the development of the third mojocafe version.
But around december i will continue to work on it.

Big greetings from spain,
Carlos
