Is there such a package? I mean - ready-to-go VMWare virtual machine with KUbuntu (yes, with KDE) and all necessary tools installed to develope Maemo apps. I'd run it in free VMWare Player. Of course I can make it by myself but may be other one already did it, hah? I see Maemo SDK VMware Appliance but it uses GNOME by default. And I don't have idea how stable is it. I prefer KDE and I wanna make some apps for NIT uisng port of Qt.

You don't need KDE on the host machine to make QT apps in scratchbox

Anyway, the image is based on xubuntu. If the ubuntu repos are still there, apt-get install kubuntu-desktop should do it. You probably will need to enlarge the image first though.

If that doesn't work, I seriously doubt someone is going to make an Vmware image with scratchbox and kde in it.

Just install Kubuntu and read the INSTALL.txt of Scratchbox to get Chinook or Diablo installed. Its pretty straightforward.
