Many of you may already have read, Aigo is releasing it's MID handheld. It looks like a slightly larger version of the N810 and is powered by the Intel Atom chip. It also will be released with a Linux OS.

Looks ok. Nice pix. Battery life of 2.5 hrs isn't very impressive.

"I believe the day is also the opportunity to try many version of the Friends of the evening from 6 pm to continue the use of almost 21 o'clock, the battery has not yet exhausted! "

Does this review advocate letting prostitutes try to run down the batteries?

I had some hands on with the Aigo P8810 today at the Intel Developers Forum, and I can't say I was very impressed. Youtube video was pretty choppy, and even the UI stuttered quite a bit. It kinda felt cheap too.

The performance better improve before it's released for sale, or I can say it would be hard to justify the estimated $600+ price tag.

I also tried the Compal and Lenovo MIDs and they performed about the same...

I think I'll be waiting for the next rev of the Nokia IT or possibly a Intel Moorestown based MID in a year or so.

There is a demo site
http://www.aigomid.com.hk/
I could only get this to play on Opera, neither Firefox nor Chrome could manage it.

If you want one now then buy it here

hmm, the battery use rates reported by jkk over at jkkmobile seems somewhat comparable to my N800...
