Hmm, I've added it, but it hasn't authorized me, so I can't chat...
http://coders.meta.net.nz/~perry/jabber/confbot.php
Protocol: XMPP Username: your Nokia Account (without @ovi.com) Domain: ovi.com Password: you may enter your password if you want to sign on automatically, but it is recommended that you leave it empty for security reasons Remember password: check the box if you’d like Pidgin to remember your password (you won’t be prompted to enter it each time you sign in, if you select this option) Require SSL/TLS: Tick the box Force old (port 5223) SSL: Tick the box Connect port: 5223 Connect server: chat.ovi.com
With Nokia Chat Beta at Nokia Beta labs out, it ties into a couple of different protocols including Gtalk.
We started adding friends on our S60 Nokia phones, (N95, E71, E90, ...) and realized that a chatroom would be a great idea.
I used a py script and set up, essentially an IRC room via Gtalk, for everyone to use. It's nice because all the S60 people from Howardforums.com can now chat with each other real time.
At any rate, I'd love to see you all there, since it includes anyone with a gmail account. It would be perfect for use with Pidgin or the native gchat.
Nokia.Chatroom@gmail.com
Just add to gtalk and enjoy.
Edit: It seems that I'm getting a chatroom echo. Hopefully someone else can confirm. Kind of silly, but I'm not sure if this is my Gmail profile or the script's fault.
