I am very happy after waiting for the Offical release and bypassing the BETA. So my enthusiasm will be a bit more exuberant then with most. But when I can PAIR with my Cingular 2125, running WINDOWS MOBILE 5 for Smartphone, Im doing backflips. In my case that was a huge issue. And becase most all of the Win Mobile devices had the same error, I am willing to bet that this will add a slew of new devices that are now capable of PAIRING with the NOKIA 770.
Next, I try my TREO 650 (Yes I know some did work, but it was established certain FW and HW versions would not. I had the WOULD NOT model!)
You can turn off the Wireless Disconnect If Cover In Place off.
Go to TOOLS> CONTROL PANEL> CONNECTIVITY and Uncheck the Box Disconnect when cover on device
Should have said: it's already switched off (unchecked)!
Also, this checkbox (checked or unchecked) doesn't explain why the connection is lost while idle - the 770 still believes it is connected (antenna is shown on the system tray icon) but routes cannot be resolved until the connection is dropped and re-established.
