Come on all you clever people out there...

Has anyone tried Nokia's mobile web server on their phone, and more specifically tried to connect locally from their tablet, as it could be useful as a control application from the tablets.

I played with it a while ago, and found it blocked the access from the tablet to the phone, and thus 3G.

Wondering if PAN will assist, if the web server is only running locally.

Has / is anyone experimenting with this?

I use it all the time (my personal website runs on it).

I am able to connect but you need to have either:
- a 3G connection to your mobile with MWS running, and then WiFi to the site with the IT
- a WiFi connection to you mobile with MWS running, and then WiFi to the site with the It
- or use a solution like JoikuSpot to turn your mobile into a hotspot, and then log into the site via WiFi on your IT

All in all, either of those works and works fine.
