I've got an n810 a few days ago and there're a few puzzling moments for me.
I have enabled two text-input languages (en-us and russian), but I can't find a way to switch between them using the sliding out keyboard -- can I? I've downloaded some app which supposedly does switch input languages after a long right shift, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Also, is there a way for the n810 to connect to an SMB or (preferably) an AFP-share on the WiFi network? Didn't find any smb-client packages.
The last annoying thing -- if a message (like a low battery warning or something) comes up when MPlayer is in the playback mode, it's window get all messed up -- am I running the wrong version of MPlayer?
PS. The n810 doesn't have an FM module, does it? Just the FM tuner didn't work, want to make sure it's not the manufacturing defect.
PPS. My unit came with diablo pre-installed, neat eh?
Scratch that multi-language input question, it's Ctrl-Chr, but you have to select the proper Keyboard layout in the first (Hardware) tab of the Text Input. I thought it's set thru the third tab (Languages) only to find out that both the second and third tabs apply to On-screen keyboard only.
I'm still however interested in a solution to transfer DivX movies between my Mac and N810 wirelessly (w/o BT) by either starting/stopping a samba server on the tablet or accessing the smb/afp share on my Mac.
No luck with the FM tuner on n810 either. I have reinstalled the FM tuner app, I've downloaded the list of local radio stations, but with the handsfree plugged or not, I get nothing from the FM tuner applet.
Oh, on the slim chance that some Mac owners have gone up to this part -- what's the best way to push (at least once) my address book onto n810?
