I bit the bullet and got myself the samsung q1. I'm liking it. I'm still a big 770 fan though. But the Q1 is actually a great device. I wrote up my thoughts here.

Check it out.

I picked up a Q1 also. Mainly needed the Java support and storage space for work.

I find the Q1 takes some getting used to (maybe coz I am an old man), but I didn't feel that way with the 770. It felt natural from the start.

The 770 is my first experience with Linux and I love it. The Q1 is okay, but I like the 770 operating system better. Just my humble Average Joe Consumer opinion.

I had one in my hands at Fry's Electronics yesterday. If it were half the price, I'd have bought it.

But it is half the price! Isn't that what Microsoft told us months ago?

I feel the same. The 770 was more natural and felt more fluid to get into and get around. The Q1 does take some getting use to. But thats why I use both. My 770 for my regular day to day surfing and so forth and my Q1 for my mobile PC needs.

The price for the Q1 is a bit over the top. but hopefully with the next generations coming next year, the price will drop a bit
