I go to maemo.org and looked at the most popular apps and I downloaded the maemo mapper but when i try to install in using the application manager is gives me the the message "unable to install". Does anyone know what i should do to get it to install?

actually there are a few applications that when try to install give me the same error. also if something does install it sometime gives me the message "internal error" and the app. manager closes. some examples of apps that wont install are maemo mapper, maemo periodic table, and mytube. anyone have any ideas?

doesn't application manager provide a more verbose log?
