1) Uhhhh, No? It would first be over 1TB of data (making up numbers), so it would not fit. Anyway, why would you want ALL of google maps. A small area is more feasible, and can be stored on the tablet. You can have maps without the internet.
2) Yes, click the center button on the d-pad...

D-pad is the directional pad, meaning, the up down left right, and select button in the middle.
you can download either by area, or along a route. if you zoom to an area, then go the menu, click on maps -> manage maps, then go to zoom, and select the zoom levels you want to download (4 is the smallest you will probably want) then hit okay, and it should download everythign you need :-)
can i download the whole google map to my n810 so that i still have map even without internet connection?
can maemo mapper automatically centralize gps so that i know where i am?
